5 digital marketing trends that we cannot afford to ignore
Digital marketing is in constant motion: we are confronted with natical new technologies that promise to change everything, and the Marquetologists write articles with magnificent titles proclaiming new revolutionary devices, applications and social networks.
However, even the most experienced markers cannot say what changes are expected of us in the future; yet they must be aware that the scope of their activities is evolving every day. For example, in order to communicate with consumers, they must increasingly introduce mobile technologies, make their products increasingly attractive and responsive to clients, know the conditions in which customers live and work.
This article does not claim to be prophecy. But the products of Apple, Amazon and other innovative companies will influence our lives in the coming years, and that allows us to make projections. 1. Geolocation services
Clients are always around, and many of them want you to find them. The geolocation functions of Foursquare, Facebook, Path are the gold bottom of important consumer information. NFC technology (near field communication - communication of the dipped field) in products such as Google Wallet is starting to demonstrate its potential. While some of the security concerns of the geolocal services are still not addressed, consumers want companies to know the context of their livelihoods and thus find new ways to simplify their lives. If rumours about NFC support in iPhone 5 are true, expect this technology to stop being one of the front lines and enter the standard set of mobile devices.
